I somehow fail to understand this fad of using different spellings for seemingly simple words. Like ma or mah for my, awezum for awesome, tyme for time etc. Why? Why?
When the language is so easy to read and write, why make it complicated by using such ridiculous speeeeellings. I definitely get confused when i look at such words. Is it a fad or is it a way of telling that you belong to this generation or is it just following-the-herd mentality? There was a time, when sending messages from a cell phone, these short cuts were used. There was a reason for that, limited msg length and limited time. But why bring the same on to the paper or while typing on the computer. There is no such constraint. Oh well!! People amaze me.......

ReplyDeleteThey do! More so, in the US of A where people say "Morning" for Good Morning, "Night" for "Good Night", "Later" for "Talk to you later" and "Have a good one" for almost anything!
